It's been awhile since I was really hooked on a TV show. In fact, Lost was the last series that had me running home and reaching for the remote. And as someone who avoids most sudsy shows, I didn't initially have much interest in Revenge, ABC's new drama about a young woman trying to right the wrongs done to her family.  But then I watched a few episodes I'm rushing back home to tune in.

It's almost a Law & Order type procedural, but one featuring extravagant parties, catfights, rich people behaving badly and insane plot twists. As for the fantastically icy and intense main quote a Gawker article, "It's like she is the 99%'s avenging angel, doing us all a favor by going for the jugulars of so many slimy rich people."

Yes, I have a Revenge addiction and I can't wait to get my fix when the next episode airs tonight. Woot!

Although I'm not nearly so ambitious, a friend recently expressed interest in having a Revenge party, featuring Hamptons-centric decor and food in honor of the show's ritzy location. If you care to do something similar, here are a few low-calorie recipes that might fit the theme.

Raspberry Cocktail Sauce with Chilled Shrimp
Mixed Green Salad with Pomegranate
Scallion and Habanero Marinated Pork Loin
Lemonade by the Pitcher
Mango Lobster Ceviche

And for a quick taste of the deliciousness that is Revenge, check out this promo. Then shake your fist at the sky and shout, "REVENGE!"
